De Musicis - note

When you click on a name which appears on the Modern Authors page, the list of publications obtained will include items for which that person is listed as author, editor, translator or reviewer.  To obtain a list of all of the entries which include a name (either as author, editor, reviewer, translator, or cited in the abstract or notes), you must enter the name in the search field.

Ancient authors are listed as they appear in the Thesaurus Linguae Graecae (TLG) <http://stephanus.tlg.uci.edu/canon/fontsel> and the Packard Humanities Institute Classical Latin Texts (PHI) <http://latin.packhum.org/canon>; names appearing in neither of those are listed as they appear either in the Oxford Classical Dictionary (OCD) <http://www.oxfordreference.com/>, the Encyclodedia of Ancient Natural Scientists (EANS) <http://www.routledge.com/books/details/9780415692632/>, or Grove Music Online (GMO) <http://www.oxfordmusiconline.com/public/book/omo_gmo>.

Abbreviations of Journal titles are those used in L’Année Philologique (http://www.annee-philologique.com//files/sigles_fr.pdf).
