In 2015, MOISA became an affiliated group of the ‘Society for Classical Studies’ (SCS, formerly known as the American Philological Association, APA), the principal learned society in North America for the study of the ancient Greek and Roman worlds. Since then, MOISA organizes a panel on Ancient music at every Annual Meeting of the SCS.
